26 Apr 2008 - St George's Festival: Saturday afternoon, from 2 til 5pm

The Legend of Aranrhod, a new book by Geoff Anderson, is being celebrated with a launch party and workshops for all the family to enjoy. The book - the next Harry Potter? - is the exciting story of three children who pit their wits against dangerous villains to safeguard a mysterious artefact from the past. The story moves at a breathless pace, keeping the reader guessing until the very last page!

At this community event, you can meet the author, make your own mini-book, take part in a  craft or drama workshop! You don’t need to read the book first – copies will be on sale. There will also be craft workshop - making a dragon!

Enjoy BBQ, refreshments, bric a brac stall with masses of bargains,  and live music! The Society of Recorder Players will play for us at about 4pm during the BBQ - and listen out for the strange hurdy gurdy too!

All ages welcome - so bring friends and family.
